Why is it that when I say I was always the smart, funny one but never the pretty one, I’m being self-deprecating? I just called myself smart AND funny, but there’s no conceit in that when paired with the insult of not being pretty. What does this say about what it is to be a woman.

Last time I was at a pub quiz, (I’ve only ben to like 3), there was a round where they read a quote and you have to answer whether it was Hitler, Ahmadinejad, or Pat Buchanan who said it. It was amazing how many we got wrong and how much insane shit Pat Buchanan has said.

Funk Biker
I wanted to talk about Funk Biker. He wore a large meaningful hat. He and his Lady were gliding around in a shiny metallic turquoise boatcycle, on double back wheels, blasting some funk music, bopping about to the music, everyone was waving at them. The air was 20 degrees cooler around them. Funk Biker and his Lady were a good time.
